After sixteen (16) years of continued operations at Drake Field in Fayetteville, Aero-Tech Services, Inc., d/b/a Fayetteville Air Service will not pursue efforts to exercise any further lease options. The owners of Fayetteville Air Service have chosen to concentrate their business and management efforts at their Fixed Base Operations in Harrison, Springdale and at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport. Fayetteville Air Service wishes to thank all customers it has served over the past sixteen years.

Effective, August 1, 2001, the City of Fayetteville will assume FBO operations and will provide fuel and oil sales at Drake Field along with hangar rentals. The City of Fayetteville will operate its FBO out of the Airline Terminal Building.
