FYV Logo HELP KEEP PASSENGER SERVICE AT FYV

On Nov. 1, 1998, a new airport is scheduled to open about 30 miles northwest of Fayetteville. The airport is called the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (NWARA) and it will be competing with Drake Field for passenger air service. American Eagle, Drake Field's largest air carrier, has announced plans to move to NWARA once it opens. Nevertheless, four air carriers still remain at Drake Field and their move to NWARA is by no means certain.
