Northwest Airlink's "Spirit of Fayetteville"

Northwest Airlink has announced plans to totally refurbish its fleet of 33 seat Saab 340 regional airliners. The "Spirit of Fayetteville" is the second aircraft to be released from the program. Each refurbished aircraft features a fully remodeled interior with new lower seating and an entirely new cabin interior. Each aircraft will be fully repainted in Northwest Airlink livery using a new electrostatic painting technique. A new aircraft will be released every 25 days under the program which will cost in excess of $4 million.

Northwest Airlink is operated by Express Airlines I, under a code-sharing agreement with Northwest Airlines of Eagan, MN. Express Airlines I, a fully owned subsidiary of Northwest Airlines, operates 238 departures each day from its hub at Memphis. The airline serves Fayetteville with 12 daily operations.
