NoticeOfConcernWatch Master Note: City CAO Earnest and Attorney Mac Norton crafted this kick-ass letter to Cox Communications as a followup to the Council's instructions on January 13. It should provide Cox subscribers the kind of explanation we have long awaited regarding Cox's rate and program changes of the past two years. The timetable for further action is not clear to the Watch Master, but appropriate legal action seems to have been taken to fully address Cox's procedures. The City is asking the tough questions that didn't get addressed in the non-audit of 2002. We'll keep you posted on Cox's response. The new Telecommunications Task Force should be interested also, as well as the County, which is renewing its franchise in October. |
