OctoberPacket03This packet is divided roughly into three ZIP files according file types: docfiles (document files) , imagefiles (various image files such as .jpg and .tif; and PDF (Acrobat reader) files. These are arbitrary divisions and the approximate size of the file is given to help make the files easier to manage in uploading and downloading. The combined zip files represent all files sent to the Telecom Board for consideration at its monthly meeting. Some files may have been added at the meeting, also. (We will continue to post all files that have been obtained from the original packets, including complaints. WebSitePolicy?? for the Telecom Board website and list serve is now being developed jointly by the City and the Telecom Board, but no clear policy is available as of October 18, 2003. We understand that the Telecom Board has indicated a preference to omit the names of those citizens who file comlaints, while retaining the content. Thus we will attempt to follow that policy when available. However, at present, all file contents of the monthly packets will be posted, with no editing other than names, addresses, phone or other identification of the person who files the complaint. We hope that the new policy will also clarify the file indexing system to be used by the City and the Telecom Board.)
