WhatIsYourFebruaryBillWatch Master-- Here are copies of two February Cox Cable television bills received in our mail box today. One is for Cox's Limited Basic tier (ours). The other is for a relative's bill that includes that includes both Limited Basic and Cox Expanded Service tiers. (Remember that you can't get the Cox Expanded Service without the Limited Basic.) Neither bill was accompanied by an explanatory note about the rate changes. Nor did either bill explain the current channel lineups, as promised by Cox representatives at recent Telecom Board meetings The Limited Basic tier bill was down $.68 (new total, with fees and taxes is $17.40, compared with last month's $18.08.) The Expanded Service tier total is now $46.95,which is up from $44.55 (an increase of $2.40). You can go to Cox's web site and try to figure out the new lineups and you can try to figure the bill based on the Now ReadingYourBillIsSimple. But, if you're like us, you'll probably have to wait until after the current CoxCableRateAudit and NoticeOfConcern are completed to understand your bill or the lineups. (See RatesYoYoing.) We've received no other notification from Cox. However the CurrentFranchise seems clear. See Franchise Section XX clip below. Attach:Feb04CoxExpandedBill.pdf |
